Are you buying a real "watch winder", Since ERS introduces its innovative reasonably-priced watch winder products 3 years ago, a lot of imitations and copy cat watch winder products have been rushed into the market. You might be able to find some lower price "watch winders" on the market. But be aware that many of these lower price "watch winders" are simply a watch storage box with a low quality motor attach to it. These so called "watch winders" simply do nothing but "rotate" or "spin" your watches in a non-stop manner. Imagine placing your fine silk clothing in a dryer and spin it non-stop ! (some might "considerate" enough to supply you with an external timer, or you have to pay extra for a timer). What happen is, not only would these non-stop rotators cause excessive stress on the moving mechanism of your watches in the long term, they could also cause your watches to lose its accuracy! A cheap or improperly designed non-stop watch winder spinner would unnecessary stresses the internal mechanism of a watch on a continuous daily basis. To distribute wear equitably in the winding mechanism of an automatic watch, a good winder should follow a cycle: turns in the right direction (clockwise, counter-clockwise, or Alternate), stop for a period of time; then resume turning, and rest again; and so so. This turn-and-rest cycle is the optimum manner to wind up a watch, and should be controlled by an internal electronic circuit program, not by an external timer control. A non-stop rotator will eventually cause unnecessary stress on your watch's moving mechanism, and could result in excessive wear and/or loss of accuracy of your watches. Also, certain watches such as Rolex is best to be wind-up in an "alternate" manner. That is, turn clockwise, then counter-clockwise; then stop for a period of time, then turn alternately again. The only way to have this function is to have an internal electronic circuit, with the appropriate build-in programming to automatically turn it in a pre-designated alternate manner. Many other watch winders simply do not have this function. Thus, if you buy one of those "spinners", you might end up with a spinning device that could not fully wind up your watch; and worst, cause excessive stress on the mechanism of your watch. Result in loss of accuracy of your watches. If you want to maintain the accuracy of your watches, and to enhance the life cycle of your fine watch collection, it is recommended not to use those non-stop "rotators" or "spinners" on the market that call themselves "watch winders". Our watch winder products all have internal electronic program and internal electronic timing control to rotate your watches in a periodic fashion, then rest for a certain period of time. Do not accept any cheap substitution. Invest in a quality watch winder like ours for your fine watches collection..
